After I finished glueing the flowers on this piece, I left it to dry on my table. The next day, I went to check on it and found one of our cats laying on it. As 4 letter words were streaming from my mouth, said cat tried to run, but her feet kept spinning (think Scooby Doo). I wanted to scream.
Shockingly, not a lot of damage was done. I fixed the bit of damage and immediately scheduled framing. Needless to say, I made an impromptu portfolio out of cardboard to protect the piece. You just gotta roll with it sometimes.

Flowers were grown in my backyard and preserved to hold their color as long as possible. The flowers will develop more character as they age. Please keep the flowers out of direct sunlight and humid areas to prevent fading.
